European exchange of experience

Denmark participates in the European WEEE Registers Network (EWRN). The purpose of this network is to exchange experience across borders in view of making WEEE rules as smooth and uniform for producers and importers as possible.

The purpose of the network is:

• To exchange information and experiences between the members.
• To strive for a harmonisation within the law enforcement as far as possible.
• To develop common definitions and understandings (e.g. standard-definitions of type-of-equipment).
• To work on principles for cooperation regarding cross-border-cases.
