Players and obligations

A large number of players are involved in the rules on producer responsibility. Each player has a number of obligations under the law.

Producers and importers, their distributors, and consumers on the one hand and local authorities, hauliers, and reprocessors of waste on the other. Each of these players has a number of obligations to comply with in pursuance of the law.
